Final Mourner's Kaddish: 333 Days in Paintings by Max Miller

February 26, 2009 - August 6, 2009
Popper Gallery

Max Miller painted various synagogues that he frequented while saying Kaddish for his father over the required 11 month period. Miller created both a visual and written record of his travels through paintings in vivid colors and writings about his experiences. While honoring the tradition of memorializing a parent, he reflects on humanity and takes a spiritual journey.
